I needed a quality pool table that could be rolled on a concrete floor and moved when necessary. This capability was an absolute requirement. Ruxton Billiards was the only manufacturer that I could find that offered this feature. I called Rick Ruxton and we must have talked for an hour. He answered all of my questions before I even asked them, explained in detail the delivery and assembly process, and by the end of the call I had complete confidence in his ability to provide me with exactly what I needed. I ended up ordering a 7' Paladin Classic on casters during the call, was given an approximate 2-3 week delivery time due to the imminent Christmas holiday, but then received a call several days later saying that using a freight carrier was not going to be necessary, an employee that fabricates the tables and also occasionally delivers and assembles them would be able to deliver it in less than a week. My table was delivered in a standard van, carefully protected for the six hour trip. I assisted in the unloading, though only the one piece slate actually required two people.
