I like how attentive the life guards are (especially in the zero depth pool). It makes me more relaxed and less stressed as a parent. The life guards are also very nice. I was in the lazy river and got out of the current somehow, and the life guard held out their floating device for me to grab to get back in the current. I didn't even ask for help - she just offered her kindness, and I appreciated it.

Great day at Buchner pool. It’s been completely renovated since the last time I was there and I was pleasantly surprised. we arrived around 1 PM for open swim and were greeted by two friendly workers who took our admission.
The locker rooms and bathrooms were very clean and were attended to often by staff.
There’s no large parking lot, only a few handicapped parking spots and a few 10 minute parking spots for pick up and drop off. If you drive you need to find parking on the street. There are also bike racks to ride you bike to the pool.
The prices are fairly reasonable for daily admission:
Children 1-17: $4
Adults: $5
Seniors 55+: $2
There was a very clean designated area to eat and drink. I really liked that it was also shaded. The concessions stand was right at the designated eating area as well.
The new renovation includes an enclosed Children’s area with a small slide and children can bring their own pool toys to play.
There’s also a lazy river and large pool slides which unfortunately were not open the day we went.
The larger pools were roped off for certain areas - lap swimming, basketball, volleyball, free swim etc.
There was plenty of seating of lawn chairs and rec

We bought the pass since our pool in our backyard was being remodeled. After six trips we are not impressed. The food court is never clean once throughout the day. Tables are disgusting and you must navigate around the food on the floor. We had to resort to bring a small table cloth so the kids have some where sanitary to eat. Last two times tried to by food at the food court 10 mins before closing and they have an employee standing in line rejecting customers. 9 this time 6 on our last visit. We started bring our own food and just eat at our spot since it is cleaner and more sanitary than the food court. I am glad our pool will be done sooner than expected so we dont have to come back. It is a shame since the remodel pool area is amazing for the kids.

Yesterday was my first visit to the pool I arrived around 1:30. It was definitely busy but I got lucky and found a seat. The locker rooms/ changing areas were super clean, water was warm, and plenty of room in the pool for everyone even though it was packed. I love how many lounge chairs they have and the big umbrella shades over top are perfect. They have several different areas broken out in the pool for different activities which I think helps it feel not as busy.
My only complaint and I’m not sure the pool is even in charge of this but out front on the street there are CLEAR markings on the ground for 2 handicap stalls which I parked in one… being my first visit and it being busy I did not pay enough attention to realize that even though it’s marked for handicap parking on the ground there are signs that say no parking between signs…( I clearly did not see ) so I was issued a $20 ticket!!
Why is the ground marked for parking with a wheelchair symbol if there is NO parking there!!
I feel like it’s a trap to get my money and I didn’t like it…the pool should have those spots changed because someone else got a ticket too for parking there. We’re already handicap but then you do thi
