I have owned McDermott cues for over 30 years. I have always been happy, until recently. I purchased a M16a "Sedona" about 15 years ago. I absolutely loved it. Last few years, the main joint has been screwing out of the barrel when you take the shaft off. I drove 120 miles to drop it off at the factory. They said they put it in the vise and saw no problem with it. They also told me it was normal with temperature changes for this to happen. Ha, really? My cues never sit in my car or outside. After a couple years of dealing with it, I decided to get it refurbished. I had a new G core shaft made. They said 6 weeks. It took 3 months. They lost my maple shaft I gave them as well. They made me a brand new one. The cue I received back is not even close to my original. The stain color is way wrong. The cue now weighs 18.8 ozs, instead of the 21 oz I gave them. Also the $280 brand new G core shafts tip flew off after playing only 2 games of pool.

I have been a McDermott customer since the mid 2000s when I bought my very first 'nice' cue. It wasn't much, but I spent ~$500 on it at the time. Since then I have purchased 3 more cues and two extra shafts from them totaling around $4.5-5K give or take. Now I realize that $5K is nothing to McDermott, but it is a LOT of money for me. Not only have I purchased cues and their carbon fiber shaft, but I liked them so much that I started buying their gloves. The first one had issues with the velcro but still lasted longer than 6 months. The next one I ended up getting lasted around 1.5 years so I was happy to buy two more off Amazon for $30 each. I didn't start using them untill roughly 4 months ago. These ones didn't last a few uses before the thumb part started ripping. I ended up having to sew it to try to fix it and used that glove for a few months like that, but is still ripped more. So I took out the other one I bought and that one did the exact same thing. They look brand new besides the ripped thumb part. I contacted customer support and Jaimie over there proceeds to tell me that they are only designed to last 6 months. I even suggested they sew the ends of the fing

What an amazing place. I had no idea what to expect when I walked it. Most places push products on you to buy. That wasn't the case here. I feel bad for not asking her name, but the lady that was at the counter that helped us was absolutely amazing and super helpful. She could answer the question you had before you even said it. I'm in awe of my experience of going there. I have 3 McDermott cues. And I will never purchase or recommend anything but McDermott!!!!Best customer service I've ever had . I came in feeling like chump and walked out feeling like a champ. Your crew is great. Thank you for the excellent experience. You made my 4 hr drive well worth it. I really appreciate it.

The staff here was great!!! Very knowledgeable about the sport. The salesman is dealt with was able to help me identify the style and year my father cue was, which was really neat to find out that it was made in the early 1980-82 years. Great place.
