Service was good. The facilities were clean. The music was nice. The good impression ends there.
The drink prices were way too high for the atmosphere of the place. I was charged $6 for a domestic beer. The prices for the food offerings seemed to be in line though.
The pool tables have been changed out from the nice tables in the pictures posted to cheap bar box style tables. They didn't even bother moving the lights to be over the pool tables when they changed them out.
EDIT: I had to go back... Less impressed than last time. The board in the wall has my beer listed at $5+tax. Ok. $5.50 OTD. WHY WAS I CHARGED 20% TAX? Again charged $6 for a domestic beer I can get all over town in similar establishments for $3.50 (no tax added).
Also, two weeks later and the lights are not properly hung over the tables. I lost count at how many times I hit my head on a pool table light that is hanging BETWEEN two pool tables. Just call it a jazz bar because the pool environment sucks.
