Bud Billiard Disc Golf Course

I love that disc golf is growing so much and there are courses popping up in places that are far from populated areas to highlight that. I came to this course from Pittsburgh which is a nice Sunday drive, about one hour from downtown. The course was designed by 1986 Disc Golf World Champion Johnny Sias, who seems to be a Godfather of sorts in West Virginia disc golf. This course carries a pretty high rating on Udisc (the leading disc golf app). I am not quite sure the course earns its' ranking but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the round. There are a handful of really memorable holes on this course that keep it above the average. Any course that can use not one but two pond shots is worth a mention. The hole they call Log Jammer sticks in my mind as particularly pretty. I come to disc golf just as much for the walk in the park as I do the game itself and it's definitely a nice little park, with just about everything you can imagine to see. The problem is that there are also quite a number of generic grip and rip field holes. Solid mix of long and short holes. Nice park environment with plenty of other activities.

My fav course in the area. Very well maintained. Good for a beginner and challenging for an experienced player.
