If you do not know already, then let me tell you. JR. Pockets is the absolute best pool hall in all of Denton County and honestly most of if not all of the DFW metroplex. To top it off, they also have the best burgers in Denton.

Good crowd, good tables, great rates, clean no smoking,no vaping. Good service. Friendly crowd. Truth be told I'm single, really like playing pool. My teen son introduced me to this place last week w his friends. So I thought id venture out out on my own and it was better than I could hope for. I joined someone(a gentleman)playing/practicing on his own as i waited for my table then I got my own table and i was approached by a father in-law/son in law. We played a couple of hours, they pitched he'd in on the time on table were friendly, had some laughs and it was all good. I felt very comfortable in this place as a single woman just needing to get out for some good honest fun. I'll be coming out to this place again. They seem to sell food like fries, nuggets and such. Not sure as I did not eat here but the rates, atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Just learned about tournaments in Thursday 10 bucks dbl elimination 4 games guaranteed. Im so in. Come meet me and a cool clean place to hang and play pool. Oh bathroom clean too.

Pretty good place to go for a drink. I don't shoot pool but it seems like the perfect place to go if you do.

Well maintained pool hall with friendly and welcoming staff. Janelle took excellent care of me! Very reasonably priced drinks and most importantly well kept tables. I went in alone and I certainly felt safe both inside and outside of the bar. I will tell you there is some DAMN GOOD pool players and some DAMN GOOD pool playing here at JR Pockets. Don't ever underestimate or sleep on JR Pockets. Much love and respect to the establishment and the formidable players that conduct themselves with sportsmanship and professionalism. It was an honor and a privilege to shoot in this environment among this community of players that share the same love and passion for the craft. 🎱
